I LVE teaching Kindergarten!!!
I have been teaching Kindergarten in the Mat-Su School District since 2009 and am loving every minute of it!
I am extremely excited to be your child/children’s teacher and I am looking forward to facilitating my students’ learning, offering the best learning environment and meeting each of my students’ individual needs.

We are going to have a great year!

~ Mrs. Morgan
…when students feel their teachers care about them, they also feel they belong.

Teaching Philosophy

My philosophy of teaching is based on my belief that children can learn and that they deserve a safe, clean, nurturing environment where they feel free to express their ideas, feelings, and be themselves. I believe in honesty and in guiding the children with love and respect. My desire to make a difference in each of my students' lives, to scaffold and facilitate their learning, to support and encourage them throughout their learning process, to care for and respect them, to help them grow into learners who use their analytical and deep thinking skills, to instill self-confidence and a sense of self worth, to help them build a very solid knowledge base for their future; all create the foundation for my teaching philosophy:
…when students feel their teachers care about them, they also feel they belong.
